MEET OUR STAFF
The staff at KPMC are an integral part of our hospital. They are committed to providing excellent care for our clients and patients from check-in to check-out. Our hospital is successful because of their dedication.
Dr. John Cook
Veterinarian – Graduate of University of Missouri Veterinary School
Dr. John Cook was born and raised in Hot Springs, AR. He attended undergraduate school at University of Arkansas and graduated from the University of Missouri Veterinary School in 2006. He worked at Hayden Pet Medical Center from 2006 until 2013 when he purchased Kellogg Pet Medical Center. While Dr. Cook enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, he is especially interested in educating clients and improving your pet’s health through dentistry. When he isn’t at the clinic, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three children.
Nikki Ross has been a receptionist at Kellogg Pet Medical Center since 2006. She has lived in Kellogg all of her life and is married to Rob. They have four beautiful children, Amanda, Kori, Josh and Tate, and two adorable furry family members, Hannah and Butters. She enjoys skiing, crafting, and entertaining in her free time. She also loves to watch the Seahawks and enjoys attending Spokane Chiefs hockey games. She appreciates our clients and their critters very much!
Maynard Groves has been a receptionist with KPMC since 2010. She has lived in the Silver Valley her whole life and cannot imagine living anywhere else. She enjoys spending time with family and friends camping, fishing, hunting, golfing, trap shooting and sitting in the river reading a good book. She also loves spending time with her two grandchildren and attending their various activities.
Eva Anderson has worked for KPMC since 2015. Eva keeps our boarding patients fed, clean and happy while they are staying with us. Eva loves all animals but has a special fondness for cats. She really enjoys being out in her greenhouse and growing a variety of flowers and veggies.
Cat, Cats, and more Cats! Donna is our resident cat lady and proud of it! She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2014 and had the privilege of working in a high quality, low cost spay neuter clinic in Colorado. Donna came to work for KPMC in 2017 and has been a great addition to our team. Shelter medicine makes her heart happy and she loves traveling to different spay/neuter clinic for “spaycations”. She is an active kitty foster mom with an emphasis on kittens and mommas with kittens.
Lija started working at KPMC in 2018 as our kennel assistant. She makes sure all of our boarding pets are cared for and keeps the clinic in tip top shape. She and her husband have recently moved back to Wallace after spending time in Canada and Hawaii doing volunteer work and caring for family members. Five of their six grandchildren live in the Coeur d’ Alene area which was reason enough for them to stop traveling and come home. They own a Sunstone mine in Oregon and sell their gems and jewelry both locally and online. They are both very excited to be back in the Silver Valley.
Vicki has been working in the veterinary field since 1993 and started at KPMC in 2018. We are so grateful to have her expertise on our team. She enjoys all animals but has a special love for cats and has three of her own. She loves nothing more than bottle feeding kittens and is frequently a kitten foster mom. She is married to James, the love of her life, has two grown children and a granddaughter who is her pride and joy. Her hobbies include 4-wheeling and spending time with James.
